That conviction comes from over 30 years of direct operational experience at the highest level of international live events — not from theory, but from the field.
Bruno founded Eventknowhow Consultancy more than 14 years ago after a career spent at the operational heart of major international events. Based in Germany and working extensively across the Middle East, he has served as a trusted advisor for some of the world’s most prestigious events, including the Formula One Grand Prix and the FIFA World Cup.
His career spans the full spectrum of live events — from managing a 55,000 seat football stadium and large scale venues in Germany to intimate conference rooms. That breadth means Eventknowhow understands the specific challenges and constraints that come with every scale of event, not just the headline ones.
His specialisms — emergency planning, risk assessment and staff training — were shaped not in classrooms but in operation centres, where real decisions had to be made under real pressure, with incomplete information and no margin for error.

Why the Middle East
Much of Bruno’s most formative work has taken place in markets where event safety regulations are still developing. Working alongside government authorities, event organisers and international productions entering the region, he has helped build safety frameworks from the ground up — in environments where there was no existing standard to default to.
That experience gives Eventknowhow a perspective that few consultancies can offer: the ability to operate effectively with or without a regulatory framework, and to build genuine safety culture rather than just compliance.
